Default SLS Hustler

Title: SLS Hustler

Kit number: KV-11

Background Information brief: The Centuri Hustler Carrier Rocket was introduced in the 1965 Catalog as a member of the Centuri Large Scale Series. It was shipped with 3 Hercules Port Burning F15-4 engines. It was originally released as Centuri #KF-10 and was shipped via Railway Express since it included engines that could not be shipped Parcel Post. The initial price was $14.95 including engines. In 1969 it was offered as a kit only with part # KF-10a for $11.50 and included Parcel Post shipping. The Hustler was the largest of the Centuri Large Scale Series.
The Retro-Repro SLS Hustler is updated with precision two-part laser-cut basswood fins instead of the hard balsa pre-printed fins used on the original. The Sil-Ray cloth fin reinforcement is replaced by a slotted tube and through-the-wall fins. The original Hustler had a wire shock cord mount which is replaced with an ejection baffle with Kevlar® cord for greater reliability. A removable 24mm engine mount adapter is included and several other removable 29mm mounts are offered as options to in- crease the selection of engines that can be used

Designer: Centuri

Release Date: 07/24/2006

In Production: 2006-2014

Announced in Semroc Minute 1, July 24,2006:

Looking forward to NARAM-48!
We are packing up for NARAM-48 now. I can't believe it is so close. We have been preparing for this since we got home from NARCON. Semroc is proud to again sponsor the Division A trophies for this NARAM.
Six New Kits
Finally, we have finished many of our kits that have been "in the works" for so long. Four of our new kits are the final members of the original Centuri Large Scale Series. They are the SLS Hustler, SLS Aero-Dart, SLS Explorer, and SLS Lil' Hustler. Since we found out that NARAM-48 would be held at the home of Centuri, we wanted to get all six of these classics back in the Phoenix skies again! We will be launching several other Centuri classics and hope you will join us with your Centuri classics if you are planning on attending this NARAM. We hope we can fly a lot of them on Sunday morning at the sport launch. The Taurus and the Point fill out our new line.

Do you need front and back pics of a bagged SLS Hustler?

To me I can resize within the 2mb but retain more detail.
