Nice pic. Photographed on the tiny stand that resembles a Porta-Pad and the table tiles resembling large paving stones, it makes your new HoJo look bigger than a Maxi HoJo.

That looks great!

I have an in-primer reconstructed Centuri HJ. I'll probably go for the olive drab finish, just to get it done.

That's a pretty looking model. I am very happy that sandman is able to supply after market decals for this model.

Me too. Though one reason being a potential "first scale rocket" for this young man to build:

I think the size of this new kit will be great for him, "big" for him, but not too big. Bigger rockets later, when he's older. I had this kit in mind, when I took this pic, so he could be reminded that hey, here's a kit of that rocket you posed with.

Though the main idea will be "fun", not scale accuracy. Orange is his favorite color, so...... his might be an Orangest John.....

Say, they forgot the decals but, it looks like they remembered the launch lugs.
And, you can clearly see that the holes in the center band are off center.

Placed an order for one direct form Estes because I thought I could not wait. Half hour later I get an email from AC Supply saying that the are in stock. Could have saved 10.00 if I would have waited.
