Thanks for the heads up.
$20 for two is cheap.
I paid Sue $25 for ONE.
Never seen before on ebay.

Perfect for cutting out giant fins and slicing meat as well...

Yeah, thought you might like to grab them. I had never seen them pop up before either.

STILL waiting for that 1950 Xacto catalog to arrive. Been hung up for near two weeks going back and forth in the Atlanta area between two different USPO mail depots, according to the tracking data. In and out of these two locations now FOUR TIMES! Crazy...

Hopefully, it will kick free in a few days and make it this way. Will scan like the others when it DOES arrive and send to Scott for posting.

There is a seller on ebay that has the old "wide style" #19 blades in lots of 10.
I don't like them as well as the old #24, but better than the newer "collet width" blades.

Glad the blades arrived ok...and so relatively fast.

And...I finally received the 1950 Xacto catalog in the mail today after more than two weeks of mail time. Will try to scan over the weekend.

Ordered some supposed "old Wide Style" #19 blades on ebay.
Don't fall for the trap.
The guy selling the blades used a pic off the web for a #19 blade instead of those he is selling.
I bought 10 of the blades based off the pic and they were only like $3.99.
What I got was 10 blades from a modern-style bulk-pak that are only the width of the Collet, not the wide ones.
I contacted the guy to let him know that I was NOT pleased that what he sent did not match the picture of the listing. It appeared to be an honest mistake and he was not aware of the difference. He will revise the listing. I let him know I will keep and use them but never would have ordered newer #19 blades as I already have plenty. Due to his reasonable and timely explanation I won't issue negative feedback.

Just wanted to let those know that are interested in the various vintage X-acto products.

As a side note, Personna still uses the older "wide platform" for their #24 and #19 blades.
There are some of those #19 blades on ebay now. Just wish I could get the original brand ones.

I have a question in to a seller right now on some third party blades that ‘appear’ to be #24 blade types. But, I really need to see a photo of a blade next to a ruler to tell for sure.

Will let you know what they say.

Here is what appears to be an Xacto #89 set in very nice condition. Price not bad either at $40, but shipping is like $27. Still, not a bad total for this set.

I don’t need it really, but someone else might like it.
