Unfortunately John, as Iím sure youíre well aware, their shipping costs wipe out any cost savings.

Bellevilleís shipping is higher than Iíll pay but thatís me. Iíve only bought from them when I had a coupon that made it palatable.

Hobbylincís is on a sliding scale - IIRC once you get above a certain dollar amount itís less than $12, and they ship BP motors USPS 3rd Class/Ground Only so no hazmat fee. Hobbylinc is my go to source when I want bigger BP motors and donít want to wait to buy them from a launch vendor.

Thereís been mega pixels of discussion here and on TRF over whether Hobbylinc follows the rules when it comes to hazmat, which Iím not going to debate - when Iím out of Estes 29mm E/F and they have them thatís where I order them, yíall do what your conscience directs as you see fit.

Regardless, all hobby stuff is a ďwantĒ not a ďneedĒ so it always comes down to how bad a want it is - if itís bad enough thereís a way to rationalize the purchase 😉

Whatís the certain dollar amount do you have to get to for the decent shipping fee?

I answered from memory - they do have a sliding scale but the way to get the lowest cost shipping is to buy E/F BP motors - shipping automatically goes to 3rd Class/Ground Only. Like I said earlier, theyíre my source for Estes 29mm motors, typically I only buy from Hobbylinc when I need some.
