![]() I whipped out the "X-ACTO" #6 in order to do a bit o' carving on
the L'l Wizard u/c model. Nearly took a wrench to tighten the collet for the #26 blade. Yep, it's a 20+ yr. old Excel pos... the ancient #5? No problem. Basically, knock off tools bite. Bob p.s.looking on the 'bay for a real one. p.p.s just received a PAW 80 (.049) diesel; it'll turn an 8x4 prop after break in ![]() __________________

![]() Here is a vintage one with the original clear storage tube. Pretty sure this is a vintage Bakelite handle, too. Not exactly cheap at about $20, including shipping, but looks like they are accepting offers. It’s been listed since November, so they might be ‘hungry’ for any kind of a decent offer.

![]() Earl,
That's worth the price just 'cause it's new in tube ![]() Bob p.s. btw I found some packs of #13 saw blades and #17 chisels from Brodak; they were $2.70 and $1.55 respectively.

Here is another option; a complete set (probably from the late 80s or early 90s) that is in pretty good shape and the price is great! Asking $15, plus shipping (another $12 for that...shipping has gotten crazy expensive the past few years). But...you get a full set; basically, this is an Xacto #87 set, but the coping saw is missing. Could probably add that later if you really wanted to 'fill out' the set. But, a good deal all in all.
