Uh oh.
You can hide Xacto sets inside Coleman stoves.
(Unless it's a #89 or #99 set)

ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, AGITATION, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, AGGRAVATION, INSTIGATION, NUISANCE-ACTION, and HAVOC !

Here is a #89 set that does not come up too very often. I can?t really tell if this one is totally complete, but I think it is mostly. The paper parts listing in the first photo has a January, 1975 date on it, so this one is from the mid-70s. Pricing is not an out-and-out steal, but not bad at $99. Shipping is a bit pricey to my location, but maybe cheaper to someone else.

You definitely are NOT finding a pristine #89 set any cheaper than this.
I do see it as a steal and would grab it if I didn't already have 2 "enhanced" #89 sets and a #99.

That's a big bummer, Scott.
Honestly if I'd known you wanted it I would have just snapped it up and sold to you the same cost.
Seeing as a basic #87 goes for $80 now, a #89 with triple the content is a steal at $99.
The only other #89 on ebay is an enhanced one that Sue (purplekat) wants $299 for.
I just picked up another #87 on ebay for what I saw as a "steal" for $29.
Pristine, unused condition too. I needed it like I need more rocket and RC airplane kits.

Here?s a lifetime supply (maybe two lifetimes!) of Xacto #11 blades! Not sure even jeffyjeep would go through THIS many blades! Ten boxes of 100 each. So, a nice, fat supply of 1000 blades!

Anyone know what era those are from?

And how about this more reasonable pack?

Those old Hunt Mfg. blades look like a pretty decent point and made in USA.

Hunt bought Xacto from CBS in 1981. But I can?t recall right off hand when they were sold off by Hunt.

Hmmmm...$16.75 shipped for 100 #11 blades is a pretty good deal, actually, for US-made blades.

Added: I just bought a box. We shall see....
