It’s interesting Estes put all that card detail on the model and but left the NC seriously short. I wonder if they lengthened the tube to compensate.

OK, I'll bite, whats a BCH? I couldn't even find a suitable definition for this one in the urban dictionary! One of the 3D prinitng experts (like me) could also print you a suitable custom plastic nosecone for the Iris.

Blonde **** Hair
I hope answering this doesn't get me in trouble.... The middle word is one of George Carlin's 7 words you can never say on OTA TV. It's number 4 on the list.

BCH is an ancient engineering term (it may even date back to Archimedes) for a very small amount.

There are A TON of kits that used the PNC-50YR nose cone. Hopefully you may have one, or can acquire a kit to kitbash an Iris. See attached John Brohm's nose cone reference list, scroll down to pp 20-21.

Thanks! I might have at least one of those. I’ll look when I return from Montreal.

I’m confused, I thought it was an RCH? Maybe RCH is metric? I graduated in 1975, and we were big into metric at the time, maybe that’s why I remember RCH ...

We have righteously given the Metric System THE BOOT (excepting engine diameters, of course) and are back to BCH.

I had an feeling that’s what it meant. The chemE’s I worked with used an abbreviation RCCH for a small unit of volume where the first 2 letters stand for red cubic. Getting into metrics; the square root of 69 might be “8” something, but 181 is metric for 69!
