Since Paul hooked you up to their manufacturer, I can add a little personal experience to corroborate the info. The MRC motors I flew were dirty, as in having loose powder dust on them and in the packaging. Estes motors are always clean, at least the ones I've had over the decades. The photos in the eBay ad are comparable to my experiences with MRC. They had a somewhat yellowish smoke, and seemed weaker than comparable class Estes motors. IIRC, they also were overall slightly smaller in diameter to Estes motors, with the empty area void of delay and ejection charge even smaller in diameter to the lower portion with ejection, delay, propellant and nozzle. This was obviously due to the way they were manufactured. IIRC, that made them fit a little loose compared to Estes motors, even the fatter end, but I may be mixing that up with Quest motors, which were also loose fitting after they started getting them from Germany.

Not sure how much of a deal this will be eventually, but an interesting item nonetheless. An early Estes V2 Maxi Brute (not one of the latter reissues) still shrink wrapped.
