Thumbs down

Hi... Do you know if John Pursley is ok? I have emailed several times regarding an Accur8 order and he has not replied. It's been several weeks. Does anyone know how else to reach him, or someone else regarding an outstanding order at Accur8? I'm a bit worried about him.

Thanks
Jon

Not sure anyone is filling his orders since his accident.
I'd imagine outstanding orders may be delayed a while.

I just saw this on that other forum. It was posted about three hours ago:

His store is still up on eBay, but since he is in the hospital, there is no way he can process orders. Do not order from his store until he lets you know he is back in operation.

Sorry to hear John's still in the hospital. What a time to be stuck there!

Wow, yes me too. Based on the first message in this thread that means he has been in for a month now. I guess the other side of that coin though is that he survived the accident which obviously was a pretty bad one. It would also seem that the recovery road in front of him may not necessarily be a short one.

I pray for John to make a full recovery. I had a two week stay in the hospital in 1991 following a motorcycle accident and I was losing my mind ... I can't imagine an entire month in a hospital so yes it must have been a pretty bad accident he was involved in.

I chatted with him via eBay a few months ago and he was quick to respond and great to deal with. I recently placed two orders with him at his webstore just prior to hearing about him being involved in the accident but they are for future builds so I'm not very concerned about the lead time involved I'm sure he'll make good on them more concerned that he is still presently in the hospital.

I pray for Randy at eRockets too hopefully he will be out before Christmas.

Nobody needs this added to their misery during this crap year 2020 ...

This was posted on TRF.

Accur8 Products is closed. It was a one-man show and John is not able to run it. The Accur8 Products store and listings are still up on eBay and I have contacted eBay to close the store, but they have not acted yet.

Do not order from Accur8 Products until you hear from John that he is back to run his store. Spread the word.

Saw this on Facebook

An update on John Pursley:

Would love to be able to give you good news, but unfortunately not so much this time.

On Christmas Eve day, the hospital thought John had made some progress, and removed the ventilator and permitted some walking. Unfortunately not long afterwards, John's heart stopped and he coded. The staff resuscitated him and he is now back full time on the ventilator.

There may be some previously undiscovered heart damage, but that is not confirmed.

John could really use your prayers right now.

****, hate to see that. I sure hope he makes a solid recovery but that doesn't sound promising.

2020 can't end soon enough...

Oh, wow. Geez, I guess I was hoping his ‘recovery’ was, by now, further along than this. I guess that just seems to indicate how bad his accident really was.

Prayers, many of them, for sure. ALL who are so inclined, PLEASE do the same. A brother is no doubt in need.
