Lightbulb New Design: The Last Gun Star

This design is inspired by Chris Timm and and the movie The Last Starfighter. Thanks to Chris recently posting pics of the Gunstar from the movie I had my doubts on wiether that GunStar would be stable in a short stubby version. I had to lengthen it somewhat for stability but is seems to fly well enough. The newly available Semroc CN-715 cone and nozzle set really make this design look good .

Enjoy and Thanks Again, JP.

Nice version, JP. I'm impressed that with all that drag, the model still gets off on a 36" rod. Not bad Dv's, either, all things considered.

Jim - very cool! Loved that movie back when.
