New Post Reading Tip
Some or most of you regulars here may already know this. For those that don't, here's a tip for reading messages at YORF.
To see/read all the new posts since your last visit, click on the New Posts link up on the top toolbar. There you will be presented with a list of the new posts and replies to old posts since your last visit. From there you can do one of two things. Click on the subject line which will take you to the original post. There you will find a link thats says "View First Unread" in the top left of the message. Clicking that will take you to the first unread reply. The alternative is when at the New Posts window you'll note a little down arrow to the left of the subject line. Clicking on that will take you directly to the first unread reply in that thread.

Greetings,
I'm kinda new here. What you have said here works great. Thank-you. But I have a question: What if I only get thru some of what is on the list of new posts and I don't have time to finish going thru the whole list. So I leave, or the system kicks me out, and I come back, YORF thinks I went thru them all and I don't know of a way to get the original list of new posts back. Can you help me with this? I tried searches, but I'm coming up empty handed, or maybe I'm doing something stupid. Thanks.

Well, if you clicked on the post and went past the pages it assumes you read it.
Just because the page came up doesn't automatically mean you read it! So, no more shortcut! Read those posts! All of them...there will be a test at the next launch!

OK,... makes sense,...
but what about the other posts from the list I have not clicked on yet? Is there a way of getting the list back?

Unfortunately, not that I know of. I've gotten caught by this myself a few times.

Acronyms and What They Stand for.
I see a lot of acronyms on here that I have no idea what they stand for.
Any help with these would be appreciated. |

Any specific acronyms? YORF, obviously, means "Ye Olde Rocket Forum", while TRF means "The Rocketry Forum"...
