I hit 73 completed builds for 2021. Since painting season for me is over, that will probably be it for this year. In mid-October I realized good painting weather was coming to an end so I did a bunch of easy to build and paint rockets (Blue Bird Zero, Phoenix Bird, Nike Apache, Astron Sprint XL, Super Neon, Hornet and a Flutter By).

In Que now is a Flis Deuces Wild (actually ready for paint), a Semroc Maple Seed, Estes Blackbird, Starship Nova, Greyhawk, and Asteroid Explorer. The holidays always slow builds way down, so not sure when I will get these to the ready-for-paint stage. I think last year I had seven that were started right when the Derecho storm hit and did not get touched again until this past March.

Keep Building and Posting! I always like to see and hear what everyone else is working on.

You added to your collection to achieve a total of 73 builds, or you actually built 73 rockets in one year? If the second - WOW!

I built 73. Trying to get through a big backlog. There were 13 new acquisitions.

None of the 73 were E2X type; i.e., everyone of them had to be painted. Last year I built 43 but about a third were E2X type.

Comrades:

If I did that, divorce would be the best possible outcome, Death being far more likely.

I primed a couple yesterday, the Estes D.O.M. Argus II and an upscale of an FSI Voyager that I built back around 2013. I also sprayed a first coat of grey on a Centuri UFO Invader after I got tired of the finnicky nature of the silver. I also had concerns about how well the decals would have stuck. I'm hoping to have the Estes Beta Launch Vehicle ready to fly should the weekend improve enough to fly and I should get a first coat on the Thor-Agena B, which should also see action.

MarkB-

I bet your house has far more junk of hers you find totally USELESS than your stuff.
Non functional decorative crap has exactly ZERO place in my home and have informed my significant other until all that junk is gone there will be ZERO listening to any complaints about the amount of my stuff. EVERRRR.

I am VERY INTOLERANT of typical female bytching, whining, and complaining.
You want a neat, clean house ? Take care of it.
Don't like my messy workshop and hobby rooms ? Stay OUT of them.

'NUF SAID !
