Got this batch through Craigslist for $50. I really think I got my money's worth, what do you think?

Those are both good finds. I don't know if 21st Century kits qualify for "rescuing" but maybe.

So . . . .

Rescue them. Post pictures of the repairs and the new paint, etc. Bonus for Return-to-Flight pictures.

Well worth $50 for the Phoenix and half completed 1284 Space Shuttle.

Well these 21st century rockets were rode hard, and you know the rest . I get the feeling they didn't understand the need or concept of wadding, or dog barf. I can always add them to the give away pile at a rocket party.

Today's great find from Craigslist for this batch for just $5. I think you guys know as well as I do the going rate on an unopened 1385 kit, even if it's the starter set version. Plus I got 12 unburned engines.

Yesterday I got ambitious and finally put the CMR decals on my Estes X-16, a rescue from back in 2014. I sprayed the decals with acrylic clear, and they crazed a bit, but from ten feet she's a prom date.

Eh, I'm not that detail oriented. It's civilian grade, not military.
