Single digit temps are too cold for ANYTHING.
Yuck ! I have found the Continental Extreme Contact DW tires on my Corvette don't grip worth a hoot below 30 degrees.

Honestly, I'm finding that as I get older, I have very little interest in doing a lot of things I used to enjoy in temps below freezing. 40's are my new sweet spot. And given that I got muck boots for Christmas, I think I'd be fine with 40's and little to no wind.

The older I get, the crankier I get with cold temperatures.
I have absolutely NO use for snow. Slop just makes a mess and prevents me from driving the car I want to.
