Field box????????
I don't have a.....box......
I carry so much stuff to the field it's not even funny. My "normal"stuff ............. Plano tackle box that has.........stuff.....(read, spool of kevlar, quick links, various wrenches, pliers, 29mm motor casings, closures(hobby and HP) Rolls of surveyors tape(useful for finding a rogue rocket in a !@%$^#CORN FIELD) cheap super glue(from grocery store)and accelerator. I've been asked numerous times if I had those 2 things, glad to see they are used. I have a plastic tote box that I put my HP reloads and S/U motors in, along with at least 2 or 3 ziplock bags"o"chutes, nylon and plastic. I also have a Stanley partitioned box that I store Estes motors in.I get them at Michaels with the 40% off coupon......LOVE that!!!! I divide them up in Alphabetical order. I have a box that "allegedly"fits under a bed. I can get a lot of LP rockets in as long as I don't put the lid on. A couple cardboard grocery store totes hold other rockets. High Power rockets are placed in the car as is. My intentions are to fly to the conditions, problem is that I end up yakking with everyone all day long......most of my stuff never flies, just gets packed up again . I've vowed to lighten up on what I bring. We do a solstice launch once a year, I brought the bare minimum, LP motors, maybe 6 rockets. LOTS more fun. I hope to continue the trend. FWIW Mark T |
