Doug Holverson's Centuri nose cones and nozzles
Greetings, 3D printing YORF Hivemind,
About a year ago, I downloaded these thingiverse files from our very own Doug Holverson: Doug Holverson's Centuri 7 Series Plastic Nose Cones posted November 23, 2014 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:560706 Doug's Fun Nozzle Pack #1 posted November 22, 2014 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:559511 I took the files to my local public library, which offered 3D printing for an incidental cost. I got the following results, which I wasn't exactly happy with, but it was an experiment anyway. Should the resulting product be this rough? Would I need to adjust the settings in the printer, or would I have to tweak the file to get a much smoother (i.e., useable) 3D printout? Please advise. Thanks! .
