I somehow lost the 1/8 LL for the vintage Estes Explorer #1974 Im building. Does anyone know the correct length so I can cut another one?

Thanks!

Default Explorer 1974 Launch Lug

Hiya, JJ. Although I don't have the part number, I can confirm that the Explorer's lug is 2 3/8".

Jeffy,

I measured my original.

2 3/8"

I really like Overeasy's color scheme.

That one is completely on you. After 54 years of model rockets I started to " LET GO" of my collection. never once in that time did I ever worry about the proper length of a launch lug.
I actually prefer to use two very small lugs on most models. I guess that makes me ANAL too.

If I ever needed a Launch Lug, I would just pick one out of my box of tricks.
But that is how it is when you have been doing this for over 50 years.
Have fun and lighten up. I love Led Zeppelin too.

I actually used the JJB pic for fun, so I'm already there.
