ALSO, "Tango Papa Decals" shows a listing for "QUASAR" decals, but I have not seen them.

Thanks, Stickershock23 does not list one, and ExcelsiorRocketry used to, but it is not around anymore, nor Sandman, so maybe tangopapa, I had forgotten about them.
My brother had one of these, I remember when we were young and talked our Parents into stopping in Penrose to visit Estes. They bought him the Citation Quasar. After few flights, but much handling, the chrome was coming off the nose, and now many years later I dont know what he ever did with it. I recently lost that brother to Covid, so would like a tribute rocket for him, and this would fit that nicely.

You could also use a combination of Trim Monokote in White & Chrome for the body. One of the various decal companies could do the Black lettering for you. Use a good quality Chrome paint for the Fins and Nose Cone.

An ALPHA III kit would be a great start for this . . . Just trim the Fin tips !

BTW - Gordon Agnello, aka "Sandman" ( here on YORF ) was the owner of Excelsior Rocketry.

Forum member Kidagain states he got on from Stickershock23. You may need to email them to ask about it if it's not listed.

I think that these images could be scaled to allow accurate fin-clipping. (below)

Stickershock23 responded and said he would send me a proof, to review but should be able to make these. It is not simple as it will require both chrome and white vinyl. and the sounds like he cant "print" it, but will be cut as he said the small estes logo is going to be a problem, and he may have to scale it up a bit. But he did say he should be able to do the bt50 and bt80 size. So I can use one of my Maxi-Alpha III kits to make an upscale. Unless someone has a better Idea, I have had some fair results with chrome paint, such as on my Silver Comet, Using ACE Metallic Mirrored Silver.

Not the best, and I can use Chrome monokote on the fins, just the nose cone would be difficult.

I got my Decal from StickerShock23. His are not complete Wraps, you have to lay the white base coat down. He sent 2 for the bt50 and I also got 1 for BT80 size. So using white monokote as a base on my first try, it is ok, but getting the Monokote and wraps to laydown correctly is a challenge. So glad I have 2 of the smaller ones.
