Any idea what these poor birds used to be? My dad found the first one on a walk in the desert in New Mexico and the second (along with a range box of goodies) in the trash at the camp ground he was staying at.

The first one looks like part of an Estes Mongoose/Scorpion/SkyWriter with the top part of a Guardian.

The second one looks like a kitbash of an Estes Patriot, but with a 24mm engine mount and different fins.

Redid the second pic. Looks a little better now.

The first one has an upper section of a Guardian and the fin can from a Generic E2X.
The second one is a Generic E2X bulk pack kit.

Must not have been the brightest folks looking at the work done. No wonder they trashed it all (after blaming problems on the rocket).

Anyone have the fin patterns for the Guardian? I got everything needed to build one I guess. Would give my Dad a kick to see it resurrected.
