I'm currently in Frankenmuth at the Bavarian Inn for a great all-you-can-eat chicken dinner.
Absolutely the best chicken ever.
We go every couple months.

Usually never mid-September to mid-October and now I remember why.
It's October/Bavarian Fest time and there are absurd Accordion players all over playing puttid polka muSICK.
I would literally support a LAW making playing any Accordion or Banjo a FELONY with mandatory PRISON time.

I’ve been to Frankenmuth, had the fried chicken at the Bavarian and it’s good but it doesn’t even come close to Owens Boardinghouse in Warner Robins GA right across the highway outside the gate of Robbins AFB. They’re only open for lunch, it’s all family style seating, cash only and served some of the best real, Southern soul food I’ve ever tasted. It looks like they didn’t survive the Late Unpleasantness so I’m glad I had the opportunity to eat there. Had dinner at Lelli's Chophouse in Auburn Hills last night.
The Chateaubriand was great, but was just a bit more pricey than a $29 Frankenmuth chicken dinner.

Went to Bavarian Inn last night in Frankenmuth for chicken dinner and the best local brewed Root Beer ever. The spices they use to brew their Root Beer make the aroma smell just like unburned Captain Black "white" pipe tobacco.
Then it was off to Bronner's Christmas store for annual new tree ornaments.
