My patience is running thin. Semroc used to mass produce about 3 months after design start.
The 1/100 Estes Saturn 1B was designed in the 60's by Centuri.
Other than minor design tweaks, it has been done for over 50 years.
Get on it already. Make it 29mm and bring back the Estes 1/70 K29 also.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

PLEASE,,, LET UR VOICE BE HEARD AT ESTES , That’s how we get these kits re issued.
They told me they wished Everyone would let them know what we want.
BTW,,, Estes bought out Centuri, thus the old Centuri kits appearances there...

I for one am ready for the Saturn 1b and the Mercury Atlis and since Estes bought out Centuri I would like them to reissue Centuri old Alien Scoutship Flying Saucer.

With Estes’ history in photographic payloads, I won’t be surprised to hear of a new digital on-board camera of some type at some point down the road.

I think — even though there are cheap video alternatives out there — the market would be ripe for a decent, user-friendly video camera payload of some type. Something waaaaay ahead of what the Oracle was.

Agree with Earl above.
I have an Oracle but have never launched it.
Might paint the camera pod black with yellow stripes and launch atop my Astron Omega.

Well, go to your local Target store. It should be there sometime this week, if not now.

Well, when did they sneak THAT announcement in? I obviously missed it! But, I take it that it is just now hitting the street? Looks to be so. My nearest Target lists it, but it is not in stock.

Bill introduced it at NARCON back in March, and said it would be in Target by August. And then last night confirmed that it had been shipped to Target and should be available this week. And that Target has an exclusive through first quarter 2021.

Hmmm...ok. Gee, I recall very well the Skylab Saturn V announcement from that event, but somehow I missed this piece of news. Maybe all the evolving Covid events at the time kinda got in the way of digesting fully all the news during that time.

In any event, this IS good news. Will be interesting to read/hear reviews on the unit.

Thanks for the info!

Just picked up an Astrocam. Website said they only had one, but they had four when I got there. They also had the Rocket Science starter set. First time I’d seen one of this in a store in Georgia. Didn’t see any motors though. Wonder how that’s going to be handled?
