OOH! CRUSTY! Estes Super Vega cluster
Flown twice, mostly because of a lack of clip whip. (Mine was "borrowed".) Damaged on both flights, but still overall fairly sturdy. The crooked leg wasn't always like that and is wiggly enough that a new fillet should straighten it up nicely.
Damage from the original flight on Labor Day Sunday, 2001. Landed while swinging and lunched a pod. Good shot of the expended 13mm casings that I used in place of the dowels. (The dowels might be under them. Also notice the recessed cluster mount. To allow the decorative tail cone to fit for display. Never happened. ) Missing finlet at mid-body. More damage from first flight crash.
