While browsing ebay for some old estes stuff I came across a "Vintage" fin alignment guide identical to this one, its the same thing, starting bid at $75 bux.. I guess now that estes re issued these, the value of any of the older ones will go down...

Posibly. But collectors and mad bidders will still keep prices high. Why else would an original pack of wadding go for $45.00?

Sweet. I have been waiting for this to come out since I broke a pc on my old one. Nice price. Now if I could only add multiple packs of A8-0's to my shopping cart.

Is that Fin Alignment Guide #2231 the plastic or original metal model? I can't tell from the picture, here's a link to it on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ESTES-ROCKET-FI...=item3a6430e419

Probably not by much. Since the release will use new packaging consistant with the current Estes offerings, any units in older packaging will be valued higher, seeing how some collectors try to get every different vintage of the old kits.

from a collectors point of view i understand where you guys are coming from now.

I just cant imagine paying 45 bux for wadding and not use it.. then of course if I did pay that much for wadding i probably wouldnt use it either

My mother found my BigFoot launch pad and Estes Powerpulse controller in the atic last month, I only had maybe 5-8 launches on them..... I'm gonna still use it...

That's Estes' own plastic guide. The metal one Estes sold was made by Fin-Kwik and looks different.

If you can find Polaroid film out there the pola-pulse battery in the film pack can be modified to work in the old controller.
