Maybe not quite as rare or unusual but something I stumbled over after starting down the rabbit hole that Joe's post showed me: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3343449603...AAOSw0w1hs~b N

Not my listing, I don't know the seller. Appears to be a Boy Scouts only bulk kit from, I'd guess 5-10 years ago. I don't think I've ever seen that plastic BT-20 to BT-50 transition before in anything else. The overall design reminds me of another one (whose name escapes me at the moment) but which was BT-20 to BT-5-based.

The double-set fin design reminds me some of the Centuri Italian Sea Killer semi-scale kit from the late 70s. No reducer in that kit though.

Now I remember: Ricochet. https://estesrockets.com/wp-content...08_RICOCHET.pdf

It appears I mis-remembered the size of the Ricochet. That makes this Boy Scout model look even more like a Ricochet but with plastic parts in place of the balsa nose cone and reducer.

Looks like Jay and I were posting at about the same time....

Whew. When I saw the title, I got worried for a minute that this was a Fred G. Sanford thread about Aunt Ester's sex life.

Tbzep, that's really grim, gnarly, and gruesome.
Yuck.

Bernard, that transition looks a bit like the one used in the Saros.

Nice pick, Jay. I knew it looked familiar, but I couldn't begin to place it.
https://www.rocketreviews.com/estes...1128152025.html But, hey, I've got one, apparently in the paint pile.

Back in the 80's on a beach trip, they ran All In The Family and Sanford & Son back to back on the afternoon. They're even funnier if you've been drinking Old Milwaukee since breakfast.
