Default Phoenix Phinish-----Phlat?

Sorry for the lame alliteration. I'm putting the finishing touches on an Estes 1:9 Phoenix. On the real missile, is the finish glossy or flat?

I think there's a few more photos on the site, in addition to the first one. But the site at least provides a good overview of the missile. If you have some additional photos, I'm sure they would be most welcome.

Most of the ones I saw on the USS America were flat and the finish was worn. The wear was from installing/deinstalling on the Tomcat, and of course exposure to the salt air. Lots of chips in the paint as well.

I have a couple photos here -- there is some shine, but I wouldn't call it glossy.

Those are demo's and a show Tomcat as well. Trust me, 99% of Tomcats or Phoenix missiles never looked that good....not even close.
