Sort of off topic, but I'd like to see a boost glide video capture, and have the camera in the glider with a soaring, eagle eye view on the way down. I know weight and balance would be a big issue, but if the glider were big enough, and/or the battery light enough. Hmmm.....
Now that is where the Centauri comes in. That with R/C and a Boostervision will REALLY be flying with class!

I was just snooping around to see if this had been done already with boost Gliders, and it looks like none other than George Gassaway has already done it on several different boost gliders. So it is certainly is possible. The onboard videos are just about cool as I thought they'd be. Gassaway B/G onboard video

Nice. Personally, I'd settle for free flight, but R/C would be really cool too. I suppose it would take some fear out of losing the camera, and also keep it in range of the camera's receiver.
Trimmed properly, it might not be a necessity. That Centauri would be the deal.

Hope I'm doing this right. Carl wanted me to announce our new kits to the SUVT before we announce to the general public. The SLS Arcas (our most expensive kit to date) and the Space Shuttle will go on line later tonight or early morning. The Arcas can be used as a Level 1 cert.

Thanks everyone for your support of Semroc and your patience with us,

Sheryl

Sheryl,

Will these new kits be available at NARAM for sale?

Just like Pavlov's dog. Please put me down for two of each. I guess I'll have to order the Triton and Lil' Herc to finish the collection.

See you Friday,
Chas
