I have some E6's, F7's and F100's by FSI around here somewhere. Pretty hard to find nowadays.

I dug through my box of adaptors and four FIVE FSI motor mount adaptors:

3 x FSI 21mm to 27mm

2 x FSI 18mm to 21mm

Skaffman, DM me you mailing address. The big concern is how to send this CHEAPLY.

Wow, Dave! Never seen one. In fact, not sure if I've ever heard of this engine.

The FSI Thunderbolt composite motor was never produced in great quantities.
It was discontinued shortly after release. Finding one would be difficult if not impossible.

Calling a F32 a "Thunderbolt" is IDIOTIC considering they had a BP F100.

Looking through my stash, I find I still have an F7-6 (nine seconds of burn) and an F100-0. I could have sworn the last time I flew FSI engines, they used thermalite to ignite. I know the nozzle of the F100 is way to big for a standard "starter" but I imagine electric matches or single strip igniters (oh, I used the bad word) like those used for Aerotech engines would work. Of course, a length of cannon fuse would work too. Someday, I'm going to burn that F100, staged to a D, and see how it flies. Last time I did (the MAch-1 system), I believe I did exceed Mach 1.

I have only ever seen one fly. Doug Pratt of FSI flew one in an FSI Black Brant at one of our BCMRA launches ( Ft. Lauderdale, FL ) in the late 1970's. The motor had an orange flame, with black smoke.

Later, there was a "G60" Thunderbolt, too.

The "F100" was, actually, only a full "E" motor 40 Nt-Sec. The F7 "Steam Machine" was 50 Nt-Sec.
