Default Snarky build...

Well my awesome wife gifted me a Snarky for Christmas so I thought I would start a build thread. I work slowly but will post as I get into it. Looks a little tricky, let’s see how it goes.

Take your time. A good build thread always takes a little time.

The Snarky is a fun build. I built this one several years ago. Use a fresh, sharp blade on the miter cuts and make several passes and you'll be fine.

Nice looking kit, balsa is sturdy and straight. There is an extra centering ring that I see no use for in the instructions...that’s it for today.

The Snarky: it's not just a rocket---it's an adjective!

(I think)

Started assembling the wings. One pass with wood filler and rounded off the leading edges first, it would be tough trying to shape these now without breaking them. I sandwiched them between wax paper and two ceramic tiles while they dried. They will need some more filler and sanding to smooth out the seams.

Small update, finished filling/sanding the rest of the fins. Normally for me that’s the toughest part over. This kit has that air shroud to mark cut and attach.
