Had the same stuff --- went all around the family --- stayed for several days. Probably a total of 3 weeks before the last coughing stopped...

Sandman- you have not had a breakdown in your shop filtration system to where you have possibly aspirated some wood dust into your lungs have you ?
I hope not as that could make an upper respiratory infection much worse.

Gordon, you aren't alone. I've been hacking up lung sculptures since just after Easter. Now it seems to have settled in my ears and the whole world sounds like it's being filtered through cotton. Happens every year about this time between the allergies and the rapidly changing weather.
BTW, am I the only one who thinks "aspirate" sounds like it should describe something your butt does as opposed to your lungs? 48 years old and that word still makes me snicker like Beavis or Butthead. I should probably be growing out of this soon, eh?
