I tried to fly yesterday, just a box full of rockets and an 88-gigajoule battery in a Quest launcher. Got nothing, so last night I got out my sluttiest nail polish and made up a new batch of daddy-issue igniters. Tonight I plan to continue working on another batch, and I'm going to dip a few in black powder for maximum sluttiness. There's a club launch this weekend, but I think I'm going to opt for another B6-4 Field launch to see if this is the igniter issue I suspect or if my equipment is just plain old worn out.

When we were in high school, one of my friends and I were sitting in the kitchen and my sister's nail polish was on the table. While we were talking, he opened a jar and painted his thumb as a joke. We laughed it off, but he had to work that night and was running the front register when his manager came up to him and told him to clock out. He was confused and asked why. His manager told him he could come back after he went across the street and got some nail polish remover to clean off his thumbnail. How times have changed.

I gathered every available igniter in the house yesterday and painted half with my newest slutty color, and painted and dipped the rest in BP to give 'em that little extra wang. I tried to buy nail polish yesterday at Kroger, but it's impossible to read that little writing on the bottle without taking a pic of the label and blowing it up. I already felt conspicuous enough hanging in the beauty aisle. I probably should have gone to WalMart.
Anyway, I now have two tins of slutted up igniters at my disposal: Regular and Extra Crispy.
