You can notch up the Dv with the streamer, since it doesn't "open up with a bang" at deployment.

After my Tau Zero flight tests (and my missing Semroc Javelin ), I've pretty much come to the conclusion that most lighter rockets are *too* light for standard 12" chutes.

Here's an "amended" version of the Tryton, minus the chute and one of the washer weights. The second set of simulations are *with* the single nose weight.
