Thanks, Z. You're right. I did leave the masking tape (mostly Tamiya) on overnight, which I almost never do. And I definitely have issues with paint build up along lines of separation.

This is going to be a pretty frequent flyer, I believe, so minor imperfections I normally couldn't tolerate may be okay here.
