Looking through my stash, I find I still have an F7-6 (nine seconds of burn) and an F100-0. I could have sworn the last time I flew FSI engines, they used thermalite to ignite. I know the nozzle of the F100 is way to big for a standard "starter" but I imagine electric matches or single strip igniters (oh, I used the bad word) like those used for Aerotech engines would work. Of course, a length of cannon fuse would work too. Someday, I'm going to burn that F100, staged to a D, and see how it flies. Last time I did (the MAch-1 system), I believe I did exceed Mach 1.
