I uninstalled the program *and* deleted the directory, but I still get the message above.

I got the same build number on mine. The difference between a BETA version and a RELEASE version is just the point where the programmer says it's "good enough". Remember, TVM also said the initial release would not have all of the promised features, but that those would come over time in the form of updates. I suspect the "b67" build was a "clean-up" build where last-minute bug fixes were done, but nothing new was added.
As an experiment, I did a "dirty install" on my laptop. First, I used the Add/Delete Programs routine to uninstall the earlier build, but left the folder and files in place. Then I did an install to that folder. No issues to report, the install seemed to work fine. |
