That’s interesting. Do tell us more. Direct staging or....?
As a thought experiment, I can see that it would be more likely to work with a Q-Jet C or D since the nozzles are bigger than the As/Bs and the propellant grain (or at least the bottom of it) is closer to the nozzle.
