Here is my 3" Scale Lance Beta with adjusted motor mount for more landing strength.

All the parts are from Balsa Machine Shop minus the nose cone and motor retainer and fins.

Main airframe is made from 3" thin wall tubing.

The Nose Cone is a Big Daddy Nose Cone and the motor retainer is Estes 29mm one.
