Try a search, as there are a couple of build threads here (or references to them) from George Gassaway and others that discuss this in detail.

You are very right though to ask the question, because others have found out the hard way there is a mixture of plastics used, and regular 'tube type' Testors plastic cement is not gonna cut it for all parts of this kit.

In short, as I recall, the capsule and tower ARE styrene plastic and do ok with Testors. That is what I assembled my tower from (have not gotten to the wraps and fins yet).

But, the wraps and fins I think are ABS and will require a specific glue for that. I have my glue purchased for that, but off the top of my head can't recall which it is.
