Yep, the BT-55 is mounted to the BT-60 with rings inside the BT-60..In fact Carl at SEMROC whipped up a bunch of them(they are on the site CR5560) so I could build a MKII version of this..The BT-55 is a full 18" long with it going to the top centering ring on the engine mount, so, in reality, the BT-55 is only getting about 1/2 of each engines ejection charge..But plenty to push all the laundry out for recovery..

And yeah, it was an EMRR contest..Most of it was planned and coordinated on TRF tho ..We sent odd parts/things to the coordinator who then randomly mixed the parts around and shipped them out to the participants..No 'copyright' that I know of..Part of the judging was to have a good write up on the rocket and instructions so others could make their own copy...
