I think the L.I.S. robot was "Robby", or "Robbie"...
Shift the thrust block just slightly forward of where it is, so that you leave 1/4" of the motor sticking out. I found the sim to come out a little better with the motor in this position than sticking farther out at the rear. I guess it has to do with the weight distribution; this design is extremely short-coupled, so a little weight in one place can make a big difference. I found the Dv's were better (lower) with the motor shifted forward just that short distance.
Interesting design, James. Fits into your "Spaceman/Spacewoman/Journeyman" theme well...
