You're asking a lot of that wing with a C6. Every shred I've seen involving a BG with C impulse or higher has been with a naked wing. I tissue anything over B impulse and all of my comp B BG's are tissued. You can try putting a strip of chrome trim monokote overlapping the wing root joint from leading to trailing edge. I'd make the overlap one inch on both sides. It will add some strength, but not as much as tissuing. My $.02
