Exclamation New Plan -- Helixicon

From a suggestion by James Pierson...

A derivitave of the Swizzle Stick and Swizzle Pick, this tube-fin design features a Double-Helix grouping of the tubes instead of the standard one-row or two-row evenly-aligned groups seen typically.

Static margins are 8.5 and above when loaded.

Length: 29"
Diameter: 1.34" (ST-13)
Fin Span: 1.84"
Weight: 5.39 oz

D21-4.......524'.....3 FPS.....20" Rod
E15-4.......980'.....7 FPS.....31" Rod
F21-W4.....1172'.....9 FPS.....24" Rod

All configurations are using a 3/16" diameter 36" launch rod...

BP motors are not recommended, as this design requires a higher initial peak thrust to get the model moving.

Skill Level 2+

Enjoy!
