More Nike-K info.......

A complete Quest Nike-K can be built from parts currently offered by Quest on their website:

The 35mm/25mm tube transition is available. This is identical to the kit version, ribs and all.

The Nike fin can assembly is available. It includes the two plastic centering rings, an 18mm motor tube, and motor hook.

The 25mm nose offered by Quest does not have an accompanying photograph, but it is a white plastic blow-molded unit. I suspect it is the same one as in the kit. If not an exact match, it's probably not a big deal.

And of course, Quest has the 35mm and 25mm body tubes.

Scans of the Quest Nike-K kit instructions and decals can be found on YORP. The instructions spell out body tube lengths.

If you really want to go old-school you can find scans of the old MPC decal sets and build yourself an MPC Nike Patriot using all of the above parts.

Have a blast!
