From the photographs I have seen of GMD interceptor missiles being lowered into their silos at Fort Greeley, Alaska, they look just like the XMGM-134A Midgetman ICBM (even down to its tri-conical nose fairing), which was tested in 1989 - 1991 but cancelled.
