The NAR has this nice link for serching back issue articles and such. In the "find" field, just enter the words you're looking for. In this case, I just intered the word "Astrocam" and just kept hitting the find next button until I found the plans.

Might want to check the June 1980 issue of Model Rocketry....Rear View Astrocam. If it's the one I'm thinking of, two stager that snaps a shot when the booster seperates.
