I just remembered one more cartoon where Bugs gets hurt: it’s the one where “The Stork” is drunk and accidentally delivers Bugs to an expectant gorilla couple. The gorilla father is playing with Bugs by throwing him up in the air and then intentionally doesn’t catch him and Bugs lands in a crumpled heap on the ground.
