Odd that the booster motor fits into the upper tube? How do you ever get the upper motor out, assuming it's taped in? I guess a dowel could be used to push it out from the top of the rocket. I'd be worried about charring of the motor end of that upper tube.

The original had the motors aligned by using a short piece of BT-20, centered over the joint between the motors, and taped to the booster motor. I never did this, I just taped the motors together.

Oh wait, I just looked at the parts picture. Looks like a "rivet" or bolt of some sort holds the upper tube to a motor tube? If so, then do you tape the upper stage motor into the motor tube, and then pin it in place with this rivet? Clever!
