One idea, for motor retention you could epoxy a short length of say 1/8" threaded rod in the center of the cluster of motor tubes and then use a nut and washer to hold all three motors. That's what I did with my Astron Cobra cluster, but with 3/16" threaded rod. I can provide a photo if anyone is interested.

I think I understand the idea, and that would make a great addition to the Barclone Accessories page. It would probably work better than either tape or hooks.
