My first jumbo jet flight was also on an L-1011. Toronto to Tampa (Delta) and then a beautiful ride across Florida to West Palm Beach on a Boeing 727 (also Delta). That Tristar was a beautiful aircraft, and apparently the most technologically-advanced of the three jumbos of that era. I only flew on one more, many years later, from Prestwick, Scotland to Toronto.
