I hate it for you. It's one of those deals where as soon as you shot it, you knew you should have done a test shot on some scrap cardboard. I'm guilty as well. |
I did test it first. Have a can of Valspar "gloss island orange" spray paint that's a few years old. This was a "known good." I shook the hell out of it and tested it on cardboard. The color was a pretty close match to the Astron Mark in the Estes 1971-1972 catalogs. The very next shot on the Super Mark II came out like sandpaper. I'm not too upset.
