I have no idea if there are long term plans to do a Blue Thunder or other Aerotech propellant variant of the Q-Jets. That's a question for Gary Rosenfield or Karl Baumann I think.

Thank you. It's purely academic to me now (except for assembling future gift packages), for health and flying field (lack of) reasons, but it still interests me. The one Blue Thunder motor I've fired (an Aerotech D18, in an Estes X-Flyer RTF) wasn't loud either, but that was because the rocket "teleported"; one instant it was on the pad, and the next--accompanied by a brief sizzling noise--it was just gone.
